CNY/CNB

Perhaps it's because I will be leaving soon, and hence would be less likely to take the company of friends and family for granted. Whatever it is, this cny has so far been one that's more upbeat for me. Visitations don't seem so much of a chore, and in a few instances, they were actually quite enjoyable. There were still some moments of awkward silence, of course. Heh.
Anyway, my mom insisted we took a family photo when we were nicely dressed and just before we left for a visitation. There's a group photo, but I felt these ones were more interesting.
Meanwhile, I've been slowly packing stuff for the sail every time I come aboard, but there's still quite a bit left. I've not decided how much I want to spend, whether I want to bring along my camera tripod and how to lock up my valuables. I've fashioned myself much more shelve space next to my bed with unused, clean cardboard boxes, because the tiny one provided is anything but sufficient for six weeks. I brought my own pillow case and blanket to make things more hospitable, and even Hard Truths from stpress hasn't been spared the preparations.
If anything, this more relaxed sail is going to be my camera whoring adventure for everything I've been restricted from taking thus far. Hope I'll have a lot to share when I come back...
