decisions

Now that I've got more time on my hands, with what seems like a likely stay-out routine from here on, I've decided it's really, really time to start doing fruitful things before the one year and ten months are up. Two things I've decided to embark on: learning how to drive, and learning how to code.

I suspect that in the event Joel and I get licenses as soon, he'll definitely get a better case to drive a car since his workplace is all the way in the west. Also, getting to camp nowadays is not much of a hassle. No matter though, I think getting a license earlier is still better.

Also, I only learned barely enough of coding so far to be able to change my blogskin and understand how the whole thing works. And that was through trial and error using Yichen's existing method. Isaac, who does many a freelance design and craft project for experience, contacts and the money, tells me that understanding coding can go a long way when it comes to such projects. Even if I don't manage to snatch such projects in the future, I still think it's a useful tool in the digital age.

Besides, when it comes to an overhaul of my blogskin, which I've been wanting for some time, being treated to nothing but an array of Korean boyband tribute blog designs on the web for free download sure makes learning coding more compelling.
