*Okay, I'll admit the sentence structure for this post is quite whacky, but I can't be bothered to change it now. I went to the library just now and I couldn't find so many of the books I wanted.
1. The Life of Pi
2. Brave New World
3. The Kite Runner
4. Dune

Man, what's with Bedok Library? I hunted around for some other books before settling on 2001: A Space Odyssey and Rendezvous with Rama, both by Arthur C Clark. I stumbled upon them because I couldn't find a single Tom Clancy book in the vicinity. Now how can that be? Maybe I was looking in the wrong section.

Anyway, I was hunting for more sci-fi art inspirations just now and I stumbled across an amazing local company (whose works I've seen many times before, but never thought they were Singaporean) Imaginary Friends Studios, whose combined artworks include the awesome Pepper Project, among so many others. Most interestingly, its office is just a drive away, located at East Coast Road opposite Katong Mall. Now how's that? Heh, now my ridiculous fantasy would be competent enough to work there.

Work on Joel's new blog design has stalled due to my inability to work out the coding. While I was unsuccessful in buying a worthwhile design book at Kinokuniya yesterday, I still decided to try my hand at drawing again. It must have been the Sci-fi book I read two weeks ago, because I was inspired to do try some sci-fi.

Every time I scour the net or books for design material, I can't help but wish someday I could get to that level. A good website for this is concept ships.

Going to visit the library later for a book or two for camp, and another one or two for drawing and design.
