Henderson Waves Bridge, and then some
Monday, January 18, 2010

Here are some pictures of the trip I took with Mark to the Henderson Waves. We made our way from there, down to the Forest Walk and along this 3km above-ground canopy walk that led all the way to Alexandra Road. If we walked further, we would have made it to HortPark and Kent Ridge Park, right alongside NUS. There are one or two HDRs that I would like to add, but cannot do so because my computer simply cannot handle the RAM-demanding process.

At the highest point, the bridge was 71m above the road.

Interesting but more or less unrelated picture.
This picture was taken courtesy of Mark's help, he taught me the trick of getting varied exposures when one area or object is illuminated much more than another.

This is the canopy walk, and it stretches for quite a bit, but all of it is really quite cool. the metal grating let's you see the forest floor, and at some parts, you're really high above the ground. Seeing the floor so far from us occasionally made my toes seize up a bit :P

This is a small garden along the whole park connector.

I added this picture because I just found it tucked away in my external HDD, it was a HDR attempt I did a long time ago, way back in December. (yes, it does seem like a long time ago) I stitched together six images of a clear late afternoon at St Stephen's Primary using photoshop.
