Talking with my dad about the whole AWARE thing brought up the issue of why some men join the organization.
You know, the irony has for so long stared me in the face but it was only recently that I realised it. Gay people keep on calling for a more open society to embrace their orientation, to be accepted by a society that is possibly too close-minded to such same-sex relationships. And yet, they don't see the irony in the fact others in society who mind their behaviour and actions are, just as gays are, entitled to their own opinion about societal structure. Why are
they so close minded to the beliefs of these other people? It's like that video Ben put up, all over again.
Oh, did I mention that when I happened to catch the nightly news one day, I saw a clip of this woman speaking for or against AWARE at the Suntec City GM, who happened to be, among other things, dressed in a pair of black pants at the upper abdominal level?
Productivity still not reaching a magnificient level sans computer.
