the sweltering hot days and nights are back again. Time for singlets for bed and sticky bodies. *Ugh*
Man, I wish the cool December breezes were back.
Something else that makes me seriously want to swear: the NS portal. Damn, registering for NS is probably half the pain of NS itself. You'll find out why when you get the letter asking you to get your butt to www.ns.sg. God, if the NS site were an online consumer portal, it would seriously be out of business, and it would be a cold day in Hell when the government bails it out.
When you don't want to defer, just in case you guys suffer my same fate, just click on the option to defer. It's apparently supposed to get you where you need to go, even though all the signs seem to point to it not being the option. Why, what's so hard about putting a forth option to go the automatic registration route?
Yeesh.
