Tasty BBQ

I am a pessimistic person, and this manifests itself into my life in many ways, one of which is looking upon certain events with little joy. I remembered I always dreaded going for Yamaha guitar lessons, but always emerged feeling happy that I went for class. The BBQ I just came back from is one such case too. In fact, it beat my class BBQ. It really did, and that surprises me now that I type it out.

My internet connection isn’t functioning again for some reason. I have no idea why, but it is too early to figure that out. So I’m writing this post on Word beforehand, just like old days. Yesterday’s BBQ outing was not bad, actually. (Yesterday because it’s now 12:22am… I’m getting more and more used to the different timings. This is the record year of late sleeping for me.)

The food was good, the company was mediocre, and overall my time there was about a 6.5 out of 10. One of the really neat things that happened to me was Guitar Hero. When my friend set it up, I was very hesistant to play it, given that I seriously suck at it big time. He pestered me to go ahead, and I proved myself when I crashed a song on easy.

He was persistent, though, and told me that I had to try again, and after some hesitance, I did. I thank my friend silently for pestering me for another go, because now I feel like going over to the MorBs to play some more.

On my way home, after parting with two other friends who left at the same time but took a different route, I had some time to mull over things. Tampines MRT station sucks, by the way. It seems that every single hour of the day never fails to have it crowd the train. It’s like some random commuter generating algorithm.

Anyway, I made a mental list of some things, and will post them soon.
