2. Musings at meridian. Coming less frequently than the Communique, it was often with a cover page bearing no resemblance to articles inside, or of MJC. I never understood that, and it was that which motivated me to create the cover for the last mag of the year; the one with the lion cub.
3. My Standard Chartered '07 10k photo, with its envelope, cardboard backing, reciept (39bucks) and the accompanying tag that I saved. I wonder if my dad will buy me my photo for this year's run too. If he doesn't, I'll understand...
4. My Pre-U Seminar tag that we were issued but hardly needed. It looks quite official though, so I just retained it. I only communicate with two Preusem mates now. One I play tennis with sometimes, the other a guy who passes me current affairs links through msn occasionally.
5. Ordered class pictures (see the bottom of this post for some of them, scanned and much bigger) from MJC and TKPS. I don't recall seeing the Damai ones, I think it must have been somewhere else in the pile.
6. All my O-Level papers. This one is the Design And Technology paper, opened up to the last section. Why do I keep those? Some day down the road, I would like to recall what was of paramount importance to me for a few die-hard months. Next to it is the exam schedule that I wrote myself, striking off each exam with increased vigour and excitement. Scrawled below says: 'Exams over. Orders are to mourn and celebrate.'
7. Quite a sizeable load of snail mails and in-school letters/notes/drawings from various people like Eileen. I think it would be interesting to recall emotions experienced many years down the road.
8. My trusty notebook that I used (until it was battered from lacking a spine and being left in my pocket) that had entries of what to bring, what homework to do, and even what to blog or tell the guys the next time I saw them at recess.9. Target practice shots done at the firing range in MJC during its open house. When I got there, cliche as it may sound, I never thought I would actually go there. first impressions of it were how minute the school campus was.
10. lighter given to me to light candles at Amici, my first job attempt that went quite well, but took me long and lonely rides to Commonwealth. I will forever remember that ride on the proprietor's lorry to Chinatown (to get a ride on the 197), open air and with the cool breeze and empty roads making it the most enjoyable road journey in my life.
11. My Chinese Diary project of secondary 2 when we went to Japan. It looks too cutesy for my liking now, but back then I was really proud of it.
12. My SGC and two report cards, both red but from St. Michael's (TKPS was still very new at that time, and our report cards had always been kept at the Michaelian books before the green book came out. All three reports are probably of little use now, except for my CV in the SGC.
13. You can't see it clearly, but my first drawing of the Merkava was pretty damn warped. Plus, I thought it was the US grizzly tank in RA2 (bears some resemblance, actually) I have tons of these sort of drawings, courtesy of my mom who kept all my drawings from when I was very young. The collection is quite big, but not the most interesting of the pile.
14. I keep both my old harry potter specs (it's shape is hardly found nowadays; most go for the rectangular kind) and the old but identical frame that I broke in half while attempting a volley, a few months after not having played tennis. Joel's ball broke it clean in half, and when I told my mother, she first thought I had been lying, it being the end of the O Levels, and thought that I had gone too far in having fun and broken them.

Why do I keep them all? It's precisely because I know i'll forget.
