The boredom is slowly taking it course. NF begins to lose its appeal, and all other games in my computer, save for wc3, are boring to me. Add to the fact that there is almost never a time where there are enough people to play a game of wc3.

I've got homework to do, though, but i'm procrastinating right now. But seriously. Many of my MJC friends have started work, and are proud to say so. What a far cry from Damai.

Also, I recently signed up for a facebook account to view a friend's pictures she uploaded for the Dubai trip. It's a small but nonetheless present question on my mind whether I should bother to go the whole mile in updating my profile, adding all the pictures and whatnot. Not only do I feel lazy to do it, I also still find facebook superficial. 20 friends? Offhand it sounds impossible to be able to keep in contact with all of them. How come the next day that I got on facebook, there were like 6 friend request? (trust me here when I say i'm not boasting, far be it to give a number like 6) Do they all refresh the find friends page everyday for new people to add? Is there really a significance to adding them?

When I thought about this, I remembered the time when I thought MSN messenger was just as superficial. How many do I now keep regular contact with? How many do I perpetually find offline? How many hide offline? Am I now being hypocritical when I say facebook is superficial? After all, both are meant to keep in contact with friends.

Anyway, I'm going to get an ipod shuffle either today or some time soon. My mind has been made up by three criterias, ease of functionality, (which Creative scores top in), design, (which ipod and the shuffle score in) and price. (the shuffle is the only one within my budget of 100+, not including other older or less desirable creative players)

I feel that Apple should become more user friendly (single format songs, lack of radio, no plug and play) and Creative should be more stylish with its MP3 players (have you seen the new Mosiac? It doesn't really suit my taste.) But that being said, in doing so I guess each would them be poaching the other's market.. creating a more tight-knit oligopoly than it already is.

Besides, I was more or less sold with the shuffle's design when I saw this guy on the MRT train having the compact and simple shuffle clipped to his bag.

Lastly, I read about the Mumbai terrorist attacks today. All I could think of was that it was a blend of Sharqi Peninsular meets GTA. Seriously. A lawless and wild shooting spree? It reminds me of those post-apocalyptic graphic novels where gangs conduct random acts of violence. Seriously scares me over what the world would end up becoming in the coming years.
