a pictorial journey
Friday, November 21, 2008

I can't do a writeup of my experience yet, since I want accompanying pictures, and my friends' avid phototaking will be invaluable. However, it is yet to be hosted on photobucket, so in the meantime, I shall show some of the pictures I took which I feel are quite scenic.
Who hasn't seen this iconic building before? I'm in the midst of attempting to turn this day photo into a night photo.

Luxury yachts come a-plenty here. What I liked about this was the water's reflection on the hull of the boat.

The Gold Souk. While not authentic in the sense that it was recently built, the Disneyland-like architecture is quite nice.

On our way to the Desert Safari

My roommate's sunglasses.

Morning sun outside Al Khaleej Holiday Apartments.

Nothing attempting to look artistic here. Simply a pictorial reason as to why I couldn't update in the UAE. 100AED~41SGD

I can't remember the name of the palace-hotel.

Sheikh Zayed Mosque, if memory serves me well.
