I got my new tablet on saturday. My father didn't have time to tag along (to use his credit card), so my mom passed me the $750 first to buy it, with which I will reimburse her once I have withdrawn it from a POSB outlet.

I'd been eyeing a tablet since early sec 3, and thought seriously about it on and off. With my $600 from the scholarship, I convinced myself to buy one. It's a decent A4 size (active area), and I've embarked on the learning curve for it. The stylus has two buttons and a pen nib as well as an opposite nib defaulted for erasing, while the pad has 8 customisable buttons.

Pretty big on my table. And since I draw with a slanted piece of paper, whenever I use it, I've got to push my keyboard out of the way.
My cluttered desk. All in all, the main unit, monitor, keyboard, new Razer Goliathus mouse pad ($29.), tablet and scanner-printer take up about two-thirds of my table. Got to keep my tablet whenever I don't use it.
So to embark on the learning curve, I started by doing some really simple flash animations, but I am eons away from how the professionals do it on newgrounds. check this animation out. The thing above is what I did from my group's WR, I feel it gives a more relaxed feel to the script, and its lack of finess actually seems to look better.
Oh btw, during my school's open house, my class set up a booth doing keychains. I bought these. I like the bunny best, and the GTA4 is pretty neat, but the hl2 logo came out a bit bad...
