Ran the second time with my dad to East Coast Park last sunday. The previous time he told me I ran about 12km, whereupon i was badly drowsy and giddy, (he says it was the heat and me not wearing a singlet for such a distance) and when i stopped, he stopped along with me. This time, he told me i ran 19km 0.o We ran the usual route from the Siglap Park connector to the ECP, then past the beach hawker centre and SAFRA chalets, down to the 'woods' area, where we would turn around and end at the Hawker centre. Map here. This time, he stopped at the woods, but I wanted to go on, so I asked to go ahead and he agreed.

I actually ran past the hawker centre, feeling I had some more endurance, and ran one round around the artificial lagoon that is Ski 360, then went back to the Hawker centre. I used to think running is incedibly painful (not literally, figuratively) but now I understand it when my dad says it gets very satisfying when you know can, bit by bit, run further.

Man, I'm still waiting for GTA4 to be out on PC. I'm an idiot for nice PC game covers, so I might buy the original. Wonder if this clunky system can handle it, though.

I'll be away from the 14th to the 22nd for the Dubai GIP trip, the flight leaves in the afternoon of the last day of lessons for J1 MJC students. I'll have lessons in the morning and leave in the afternoon. We have to maintain a blog while overseas, one reason being that Ms Lai needs to make sure we are making good use of school funds =D
I'll remember to put the blog link up here closer to the date.
