Books and novellas I've read by Stephen King so far:
Pet Semetary
The Tommyknockers
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon
From A Buick 8
Cell
The Shawshank Redemption

I decided to go to the school library today to check out if they had a nice Stephen King collection there, and my guess is that he is a must-have staple of any and every self-respecting library, since even in MJC, his books were not in short supply.

I picked up "The Shawshank Redemption", which was recommended to me by Judy, and just finished it not too long ago. It's a nice change to read a Stephen King novel that has nothing to do with horror, and yet he pulls its off nicely as usual. The twist really reminded me of The Goblet Of Fire, which until now, I still regard to be the best "revealing" book I have read. At least, my feelings when I got to that chapter of the book were immense enough to give me a lasting impression of it.

Still, while not as 'epic' as that of Harry Potter, I'd still recommend you give it a try, too. Since this book is a compilation of novellas, this next one I'm reading is another film adaptation, Apt Pupil, which seems just as promising.

I went to Parkway to get my dinner and haircut, and for some time now, I have been pondering whether to spend my cash on a few Stephen King books rather than a model. Each of them cost $17.10 at Borders in Parkway, regardless of size. Pretty darn... expensive, but expected. Ought to wait until I move though, to get them. Which reminds me. There might be some complications to the latter.

Oh, If you haven't already noticed, I took down the widget, since I still think comments are better in their own respect. Sorry if it isn't, though...
