The morning report
Thursday, July 31, 2008
Given this current trend, my blogging hiatus would have been even longer had it not been for yet another misfire. This is the second time in one and a half weeks that I have woken up earlier than the original time by about one hour, and there has been once I woke up one hour earlier.
I'm more independent now, but that also means no Joel to chastise me for waking up too late or too early, resulting in me usually realizing my folly in the middle of bathing. By then, I am always in a dilemma. To get back to bed? To just go with the flow?
When I woke up late some days ago, it was around 6:40, and my panick got me out the house and headed to school in 10 minutes flat. without a bath, of course. I got to school on time, right before the bell.
Point in short: I ought to learn how to push aside my drowsiness and tell time explicitly in the morning. I write this post at an absurd 5:10 in the morning, and following this, I shall enjoy the view, tranquil and peaceful, outside my room. The best part is, it's never fully dark for some reason. It's probably that solitary street light that casts a glow on the neighbouring house, giving me an admirable twilight view.
