my dream

I had a dream today, one that was so vivid, when i woke up, i still felt like i was in it. No, seriously. I debated whether or not to post it up here, because some parts are downright wierd and others are more private. Did i ever mention i love to interpret dreams? Interpreting them is like finding out what's on your mind recently, yet in a more introspective way. Why was this bit in my dream, is it troubling me or was it something i simple absorbed along the day?

***It started at nightfall, at some place that looked like MBK centre with a whole lot of typical built-up commerical district buildings. I was alone, and trying to meet up with my parents. Its something typical, since we often part ways when shopping, as we look for different stuff usually. they arranged to meet at Paya Lebar MRT station, which, even in the dream, i felt was wierd, since it seemed like another country i was in.

I met up with them and the rest of the family, and we proceeded to a car park in a secluded area, where my dad got off the car and changed into a new get-up, which i wouldn't elaborate upon, since it would be very wierd. He told mom to drive round again, since the carpark was only one way, and it seemed that this was a plan that might attract suspicions of any passer-by, so my dad told mom to be quick.

However, on doubling back, we realised that the police had gotten to dad, and they were taking down questions on why my dad was dressed this way. We were all told to get in the car and follow the squadcar to HQ.

The HQ happened to be on a hill, or more of a cliff, and it was cold up there, not to mention the surroundings seemed very "Ayers Rock"-like. Still, we were very much in Singapore. After a drawn out discussion with the police on my dad, they accepted the case and we all happened to decide to enjoy the sundown (still?) together...

On the way up to a higher vantage point, this policewoman seemed to want to take a picture of all of us. We got to the highest point, and this is the best part of the dream, we saw Singapore from the cliff, a glowing, brilliant hue of blue and yellow by the setting sun, with so much 'bloom' and, well, i'm not as good as zw in descriptions, but save to say, it was so breathtaking, i could still vividly see it when i opened my eyes. No, seriously. Again.

We all just stood there, and the policewoman, who looked a bit like this 'familiar stranger' of a girl in MJC, chose this time to enjoy the view leaning on my shoulder. And that's when i woke up, at about 7:45am. Probably the best dream i ever had, simply because of the view. The imaginary view.

*** If you're still with me, i spent some of my time analysing it, and this is what i came to, in order of appearance.

1) Must be that Dad and Mom told me last night, when i was having dinner with them, about their incident at Best Denki and the accidental 4k TV. Basically, my dad bought it on impulse, and then decided it was best to think about it later. It's a long story, but debating with my dad about the ethics behind the lartger picture was insightful.

2) The cliff is most definitely reading about Zw's trip to the hill, and likewise, i myself am a huge fan of scenic landscapes and natural beauty =)

3) I probably need some company, as i gathered, but what is more interesting is that upon waking up, and even past opening my eyes, i actually still felt the weight of the policewoman against me, as i lay on my bed. Seriously, it felt so strange and real, that for a moment there, i didn't want to move, for fear of losing that invisible weight i felt.
