Went with Amos and Malique to interview Mr Tan today, director of the Asian Film Archives. I hooked up this interview during Pre-U seminar, when Daniel Koh, a guy working for the archives, brought down the film which my group saw, Janji Joni, which I honestly felt was boring. I siezed the opportunity to approach him after the question and answer session, which in turn was after the movie, and he agreed to help me get an interview. At first I thought it wouldn't fall through, but true to his word, he got me an interview and more. Naturally, i think all in all, i must have thanked him 20 over times, cumulatively.

Do the previous two paragraphs have wierd sentence structure? Er... anyway, during the interview, Mr Tan brought up a whole new window to the topic we were doing, one that we totally failed to see. The distribution of film. Here is a concept poster i just did, for my proposed '1st Meridian Film Festival', without the information as yet.
