tennis, kembangan and frozen patties.

Moving into 7 Siglap will be much better for me in terms of commute time, at least i should think so. I plan to ask some people living there to find some new bus routes, but even walking a distance to Kembangan MRT will be much more reliable than waiting for bus 31 now. Just a random thought i felt like sharing. It's so soon!

Anyway, i came back recently from dinner with tennis friends, eating at Macdonalds (they really ought to watch some Fast Food Nation to cure them of their wierd tastes.) at White sands, but mainly chatting for much of the time. I seriously didn't think of them as the gossip types, i sure didn't expect the conversation to head off in that path either. We spent like two hours there, which is amazing, but i'm glad i went; the dinner was fricking funny, poking fun at mainly BGR rumours among three of us in particular. I don't know where they got their sources in my case, but whatever it is, it sure is inaccurate. For god's sakes, i didn't even know from what supposed actions i did warranted such a rumour from surfacing. Shame though, lol... the one i'm interested in is on another tennis mate's table. Heheh.

I got my new racquet and shoes from queensway two days ago, the L4 Head Radical Microgel cost $265, but i really dig it. My coach had recommended me an older version of the same name, but it wasn't available, and the last thing i was going to do was to head down again for a one- hour journey. Also got my shoes for just $90. Hope i improve enough to warrant such equipment heh.
Tennis again tomorrow morning. better turn in soon. Man, i'm quite glad i didn't get into council. I see now the work they have to do and the commitment they have to put in, I'm sure that my portfolio-concerning attitude would have made me suffer in pain. Adding the fact that i don't like some of those who got in, (this particular guy felt his poster design rocked, but i personally think it could use a paint coat.) plus my enjoyment with tennis, (yeah despite my sucky playing =D), i think i made the right choice, and so did the 5th students council. Talk about a lucky turn of events.
