(many of the photos require you to enlarge them in order to see some little aspects...)
if you happen to have another friend who went for Pre U seminar, i'm pretty sure you'd hear the very same thing; that it was swell, wonderful, and entirely missed. While i do have a pang of leaving behind something so fun, it wasn't as bad as some other camps, i think mainly because the more the comfort levels of your surroundings, the less special the bonding between friends. I shall let the pictures do the talking. Lots. Of. Pictures.

All the Student Liason Officers (read, group leaders) and teachers were from MJC, since it was the hosting institution, so i saw quite a few familiar faces. this is more or less in chronological order, with this being the ubiquitous icebreakers.

group photo one, outside out designated LT.

Lunch was usually a buffet at the foyer, but eating and standing wasn't our cup of tea, so we usually sat at our own corner. The food was passable, tasting like airline food, yet because of the 'camp' atmosphere, was more than edible.

My SLO had to accomodate this guy, who seemed throughout the camp, highly suspiciously to be gay. It was more or less confirmed when, during a Q and A session, queried about gay rights and their possible future in Singapore.

VJC tennis guy, Joshua, and Sakinah in the background. It always is the malay girl who is the most hyper in any camp group... =D

Hwa Chong presentation team. Do two guys look familiar? that's because the two on the left starred in The Arena.
My hostel roommate, Zulkilfi from MI, and Paul from RJC.

Sleep was a predominant issue during the camp, and many often fell asleep during not-so-boring but nonetheless not very engaging presentations.

David (one of the arena guys) was damn sporting, and volunteered to act like a nerd for this, and someone else agreed with me he looked like the sissy from My Sassy Neighbour.

OMG chen Li Ping attack!

All the girls of our group

how this dude bent his head to such an angle is beyond me.

both were from RP, but the right guy didn't really want to be associated from the same school as the effeminate guy.

Twins ataaaaaaaaaack!

epic sandcastle centrepiece

picture angle is interesting. in case you were having any ideas, though, she was just checking for the structural integrity of the sand base.
