I just came back from a meeting with Joanna and Solomon, my two councillor mentors, who were helping me rehearse my rally speech. I think I’ll try to give an excerpt here once I have scanned the pictures I drew for it.
In any case, I hope it will turn out ok. I wasn't used to getting so much negative feedback at one go, but I minced and kept a listening ear to make my actually rally as best as possible.
It has been pretty much of a while since I blogged, primarily from busy schedules. As a side note, every week I have to wear sports shoes 4 times out of 5 weekdays. Tennis two days and P.E. two others days. And usually tennis also is scheduled on Friday. This time some of my free time is also taken up by playing Mafia, which mark just sent to me. (thanks again, dude.) The game is still great, but not as amazing as the first time I played it.
I played my first ever friendly tennis match with TJC on Friday, paired up with Cheng Jun against these two J2 boys. Yeah. We lost 6-0, but then again, we both expected it, and weren’t surprised. The only thing that shocked me was how fast the match whizzed by. My opponent aced me twice.
Speech day was just yesterday, and I was really proud to see the four of us, Me, Bao Xian, Shafienas and Ai Ting occupy the first four seats in a row, all from MJC! I got two awards! The best part was seeing my name, up there on the huge list in the hall,

I was feeling really happy, and also there was a tinge of Déjà vu, where I stood before that list ever so long ago, wishing my name when up there. And now it is. <=)
