I didn't get into council, which was quite expected. But i didn't get into the Economics trip to Cambridge either, and that wasn't expected. I was seriously devastated about the trip, i thought my chances were pretty alright, and unlike council, i actually had a serious desire to get it. But i didn't, i failed to impress the teachers because i assumed the interview wouldn't be so hard. Ah well. I got over it some time ago, so i shan't mull over it.

I have been meaning to get a new racquet some time now, and even more pressing is my new tennis shoes, my current one of which has a big hole right in the front. I've been telling Joel about it recently, but this guy on the team who wants to sell me his racquet- and apparently very badly, is making things hilarious.

Watch The Simpsons and see Lionel Hutz to get a feel of what i mean. He takes me for an uninformed buyer, which i was initially, but the techniques he tries to do to make me buy the racquet is really funny. The best one is when he collaborated with Bryan, the strongest tennis J1, to fabricate a story about him turning down a sale to this VS friend just for me. I know its fabricated- i used the trick before. But i wasn't as unknowing as my previous customer, and it is pretty insulting for him to think i'll fall for it. But yeah. The lengths he will go to... All i know is that i have scarcity power. He has a good but there is only one buyer. And as long as ceteris paribus...

By the way, i heard from his good friend, ironically, that the price he is offering me is crazy, and that were i a seasoned buyer, i would think him mad. That's ok. i lost interest in his racquet already...

Some times i feel like i just one day away from school to finish and get ahead of all my work. But i know i need the tutoring. Man, physics is hard. Happy birthday, Mark and Ben.
