6th student council, nominee #30.

With my councillor campaign finally over, i feel a bit more relaxed with my workload. I just need to wait till friday for the results. But i don't think i'll get in. My interview was a real failure, since i reckon i was too frank with my commitment levels.

I don't think the interviewers were too pleased with that. Anyway, i thought i ought to sum up my efforts with a picture.

1. My Election Day Placard, the one we have to hold up at the front of the stage for 15 mins so that the people who have undecided votes can do blind voting... pardon the paradox. This was mine, the boy adapted from another deviation, but wearing the MJC P.E. attire. Some people say the boy is fat... i think it's the contours of the shirt.

2. My nametag that i wore for... three weeks i think. Gosh, it's really tattered now. This is the pseudo nametag that we do before the people who become actualy councillors get priviledged to wear the real thing.

3. You can't see it clearly in the image, but this is the demand-supply curve i drew there and then for my rally, the demand for capable and creative leaders in MJC, D1, and my supply curve, S1, perfectly inelastic. Equilibrum is reached if you vote for me... you kind of get the analogy.

4. I also drew spongebob (me), patrick (the school) and squidward (the students) to signify said counterparts, and a lot of people seemed to like it =).

5. My posters around the school-54 copies in total.

Until now i am still fickle about what i want to pledge full commitment to. Council is rewarding, has too much sai gang but goes great for a CV. Tennis is enjoyable and i want to improve, but there is a high chance i will be eventually struck from the team roster with the level that i am playing now. New incoming J1's next year will be a near-definite possibility. Sheesh. I'll wait for the results this friday and see if i have to make a decision at all or not.
