Love is a many splendid thing, all you need is love.
This sentence may partially be due to yesterday’s significance, but it’s more of a dream I had last night, something rare, since it has been some time since I did some dreaming.
Last night, I dreamt of she-who-must-not-be-named. Heheh. Let’s call her that for now. Anyway, I dreamt our school was having a huge picnic atop the mountains. Many benches were set up and I was occupying one of them, with the person in question by my side, both of us sitting close to each other. Facing us were some of her friends.
In the dream I was not attached, but close to her. I can’t remember much else, but even in the dream, I felt distanced from her even though we were sitting next to each other. I went to get pasta for the both of us, and joined a long queue. Then for some reason, the pasta came to our table. I knew it took a long time to cook, but I passed it to her to eat first, and she didn’t thank me. I think she just said something like, “oh ok.”
Anyway, that is the end of the subject. I made something for her, but I don’t know if I should pass it to her. On other points, I need to apologize for my previous post, blogs are not always a front, a façade I you will, for even those who are affected to a large extent by peer pressure. This is because if all you do is blog about what you did on a particular day, then there are no emotions to show or hide in the first place. What I meant and referred to was if you actively put your emotions and feelings into words, and showed them on your blog. Those are the ones that are subjected to the picture you want to pain to your readers.
Ever since I came back from the Australia trip, I hoped that on going home from school, I could take 53 for my route home. It goes to Changi Airport, and I love the tranquility of the journey. I love the way I stop before the airport, and climb the overhead bridge that gives me a nice view of the runways and planes. The thing about the bus is that with so many other buses I can take, it is tempting not to wait for 53.
Anyway, 53 came quickly today, and without needing to explain, I enthusiastically boarded it. I took some time to admire the view from the bridge, and then I went down to catch but 36 home. And I was so lucky. I haven’t got the tickets to the Singapore Airshow, but I already got my preview when, right in front of my very eyes, the Black Knights flew low and slow. The flew towards the control tower, parallel to the highway, and slowly, broke their arrowhead formation one by one, spinning off to the left beautifully. The grace of the F-16, together with the red and white colors totally made my day.
If you haven’t seen the advertisement on television of the black knights, I suggest you do. Such grace and execution of the styles really enthralls a person.

I finished my model yesterday, And in record timing, too. It took me more or less 8 hours to complete the M60, with camouflage patterns. Technically I haven’t fully done it, I haven’t added the paraphernalia such as the jerry cans and tarps, but still, 8 hours is an achievement. With every new model I make, I’m glad I can see the improvement.
I also realized that I now have in store 19 different colours of paint, from Olive Green to Clear Red. I’m sure you don’t share my joy in having such a big repository, but I like the way it seems so complete. Now, if only I had enough money for an airbrush set. My next model is the first car model, the most beautiful car I know of, the Nissan 350z.
Oh, yes. I also loved tennis on Friday and today. For some reason, after the week-long absence of tennis due to the holiday, I seem to have improved by quite some. The coach hits me those powerful balls, and I love it when I whack back the living daylights out of the ball. Unnngggh! Heheh…
Yesterday, I went late visiting with my father’s side. Joel left early since the lucky, but in a weird sense, boy had a sleepover with two girls. I don’t know how he gets to know people so well in just a month. It’s scary. I hauled in 90, but since I already withdrew a huge sum for the models, I kept only 20 for the Singapore Airshow, something I wouldn’t miss for the world.
