Yet again, i am rushing against time. This time around, i came back at 5pm, not bad considering the past few days of orientation. A few people had noted of my absence for campfire last Friday. How sweet. I'm missed (no lah... jkjk)

Today kicked off my first day of ad-hoc JC life, with boring taks in the morning followed by a closely adhered to time table. I had, as i said, 2.5 hrs of free time before my next lesson, which was physics. The introduction lecture was ultimately a waste of time though, as the teacher cracked many jokes but seriously, did not do ANY good in delving further into physics. After him i had CSE, if you guys still remember its Chinese Studies in English. Small lecture, i must say, looks like people don't really see the usefulness. About 80 students only.

There was this racist bugger who irritated me today. This Indian chap who doesn't have any qualms about exhibiting his racist demeanor to the Chinese. If i was as heck-care, i'd tell the imp that my sentiments are a direct (fucking) echo, I don't like him either. Like all Indians, he understands sarcasm (i don't appreciate people who can't, its like talking to a wall... those of you who know me, know i am often sarcastic.) and uses it all to frequently. He has this Chinese girl friend (i spaced the words) whom he seems tobe with most of the time. Apparently they tolerate each other's racist remarks.

Me to Valerie (the Chinese girl): Uh... you don't happen to take CSE, do you? I'm having trouble finding the venue...

Valerie: No... I can ask a friend though!

Indian Guy: Dude? You take CSE? what the fuck for? Are you ok? Fucking hell!

Did i mention he is tons more vulgar than me? Thats saying something.

(This is where Joel's computer wireless clunked out on me. I now am at MJC finishing up the post for the second time. Next period in half an hour... CHIONG!)

The last lecture of the day waws maths, which renewed my despise of the topic. You see, we had a pop quiz that tested elementary level (as in the expression, not E maths) mathematics so as to confirm we had a grounding in sec 4 knowledge. The only problem was that the second half of the questions were all in the lauguage that is A Maths. I obviously had no clue as to how to anser Log and In, or whatever the funny looking arrow meant. So i guessed my way through the thing and by golly! I got 6 out of 10 of the A MAth questions correct. (look ma, no crossing fingers!)
There came the last A Math question which seemed to stump so many... it goes like this.

sinx=tanxcosx True or False? ( did i mention it was a T/F quiz?)

So apparently the answer was obvious to many... but the obvious answer was wrong. Many went like, HUH? when they found out they were wrong. It appears that Secondary school A Maths had taught them that was the answer. The answer is... false i think. Can't remember. If you're so intriuged then ask me to bring it along one day. When the answer was finally shown, people were all like, ORH! and it was highly enjoyable for a person like me who has not a shred of knowledge as to what is happening, see so many people react in such a precocious manner. So cute! (I'm kidding)

And then when i went back that day, i took the same peaceful route to the Airport and then home. The thing is, i realized two persons from MJC in J1 also share the same route!

Now you may think i'm some lonely kook here, but let me explain why i am excited. When you get used to commuting with a brother to school every day of your school life, and when you get used to travelling long distances to and from school everyday, it becomes a pleasure to know you may just have some familiar faces to meet. For those of you who are used to travelling a short stop or two from school, and therefore many people from the same school board the bus with you, you won't understand the joy that i have. Heheh.

One is a J1 Chinese girl i have never met, from Chung Cheng (the uniform can tell them quite easily) and the other is an Indian boy (much better one than the other fag) named Arrivind i think. The seem to live on the same stretch of road that is Marine Parade Boulevard. Or whatever.

I think this is all i wrote yesterday.

I just got wind that Tennis tryouts will be tomorrow, but i don't like the sentiment of having to show what i've got (or, more importantly, what i lack) in front of so many other people. So i feel like joining as they usually do, just go around the booths and put my name in =/

When i tried to catch up with times last night, Mark and Ben were the first onthe list since i was sure that Yichen would be playing. At least with the twins you know one of them won't be playing. So i don't know if i have said this before, but he misses the fact that he can't go to school. I miss the fact that i can't have as much freedom as i did late '07. Yet it all brings to light that we don't cherish what we have, and only look at what we are missing of. I have a first month of valuable JC education, yet i don't really appreciate it. (or maybe now i do.) While people like Mark, Ben and Yichen have their freedom, but will fail to cherish it until they get into a JC or Poly later. But that won't change, because we will always be envious of what others have, and not see we already have so much.

Badminton is scheduled this thursday, with dinner afterwards if you can join the two sets of twins. Haul ass and have a catching up, i'll meet you guys there at 4-6pm. Someone better book the courts, not me or Joel or Xavier. So much free time still not free -.-
