Hi. I'm a frequent blogger, as you can see. When i have the time.
Before we start on lesson proper, let me say something, lest i forget.
When it comes to things like chin ups, i don't know why people always look at me and say, "You so light, sure can do many one lah!" Because it kind if puts me off. I'm used to people saying i'm skinny, but i dislike it as an attribute in such cases. Maybe they have never had good PE teachers, but putting on muscle from fat is much easier than making muscle from nothing. I may be skinny, but by using my size relative to the challenge, one must realize that normal muscle ratio has to be taken into account. I'm not a slacker by choice, i play sports and run at the very least, thrice a week.
Moving on, I have news to share. I don't go to school today, so i was home the entire day on the computer table, mostly reading through JC giudes, looking at their websites and looking for the bus and train routes. For lunch, I decided to cook it on my own, and chose to eat spaghetti. Cut three cloves of garlic (garlic is like the heaven-sent spice) and onion. Got peppercorns and Italian herbs, and heated some ready sauce. The sauce looked horrid, i had never seen it before, and smelled disgusting. Then the boiling of the spaghetti didn't seemt to go well at first, so i was really dejected and decided to call the nearby restaurant Ghim Moh (sibeh lame right...). After that, i decided to give the noodles a try, and it tasted fine! I called the restaurant to cancel the order and proceeded to taste it.
Man, If i didn't add the ready-made sauce it would actually have
tasted better. Like wtf right. So after lunch i slacked off and continued looking up schools, and then prepared for my first tuition in how many years.
My tuition teacher is Ms Sophie Choo, an ex-student of VJC who is currently awaiting her results. She to a large extent holds up the truth that VJC girls are chio. In any case, i was feeling super idiotic. I brushed my teeth after lunch, but damn, the smell still lingered and i think she was... like 'tahan'ing it. Which made me feel a huge lot of embarrasment. But she taught quite well, i must say, and the next lesson is on Sunday.
Asking her for advice on where to go for JC yielded the answer VJC. But then, of course, she
is an ex-student... But i have had been getting so much conflicting advice from everyone that it really confuses me if i should stay in MJC or go to VJC. TJC is out of the question, since if i can go there, i might as well go to VJC.
The advice so far:
Mr Phoa: MJC
Isaac: VJC
Gabriel: MJC
Ms Choo ( if she is two years my senior, do i still call her Ms. Choo?): VJC
Parents: Undecided
Ms Sharifah: Undecided, but if she were me, MJC.
Huiting: VJC
What to do?
I have the MJC road race tomorrow at Pasir Ris park. Hope i do as well as i did in the Damai one. Exact same distance, but now so many more people to compete with...=/
