Of snakes, money, education and chio bu's

Havent updated for a while now, so ive got some blog ofdder here for you today.

While i was thinking about it for a long time, i finally got down to getting a Razer mouse, the Diamondback 3G. Its sleek jet black body perfectly matches the mousepad i'm using and i'm quite glad i got it, though in all practicality i would have been better off with some other thing worth $79.00.

This Saturday i will be going to Haig Girls School (to check out chio bu's) heheh for my edusave scholarship. From what i have gathered, the reward for my effort in Prelims will earn me a cool $500. If so, that goes all into the bank. Can't bear to break up such a beautiful number heh.

Meanwhile, today i woke up at 5:30 a.m. to get to my appointment. It turns out i overestimated by A Lot. I estimate i could have woken up at 5:50 and still made it. Oh well. I spent a largely leisurely early morning at home preparing before i left to get to MJC, arriving there at about 7:30 or so. I did'nt come with anyone, since the only people i knew who were going too were Leslie and Gavin, as well as some other girls from E2.

It turns out 8 Damaians went to MJC, five girls from E2 and the three of us boys (actually when i asked, Leslie pointed out Gavin was a half-boy, so... yeah. 2.5 boys.) The day left my butt f***ing painful- i had to sit on the hall floor for at least three hours a shot. I won't bore you with the information, but by tonight at 11:30 i have to make my subject combination. Here is what i want:

Phy H2
Econs H2
Maths H2
Hist/ CSE H1
and the required subjects, GP, PW and MT.

Apparently CSE is quite interesting. Its like Social Studies but simply dedicated to China. Much of the case studies have Chinese words, but it is heavily emphasised that those who do not study the language will not be impaired in any way. I suspect the Subject was conjoured in accordnace to the rapidity of China's growth and its prospects, hence prompting a study into its rise to sucess. I don't want Maths H2, but it comes compulsory for EVERY science class. So i have no choice. And no way am i going to arts. Apparently it can't get you anywhere. The teacher there said i hav to mug like mad to catch up.

Definitely hire a tutor or something. I don't see how though. Joel couldn't master it in two years, even though his E maths was good. I don't see how i can do that in less than a year. A normal school day starts at 7:35a.m. in MJC and ends at 5:50p.m.. Of course, that excludes the fact that your combination of subjects may allow you to leave earlier or what. Well, this may be pretty boring to everyone. So i ought to stop here and not describe the number of short-pants chio bu's i saw on my way back. heheh. =P
