In very direct similarities to Yichen's rant on people in Natural Selection (NS) who don't behave like rational people, i shall, much to certain people's dismay, talk again about the kiasu nature of BF2 Singaporean players.
On the same day that i was complaining about the stacked nature of the game, joel and i were on the EASG server, but each on different sides. He was on the winning side, but only because the server put him there. So the match was more or less in Joel's favour, and then this guy named SirChewbecca comes in. He comes in on the losing side. As i previously mentioned, play enough of BF2 and you'll know he is good.
Almost immediately though, he switched sides. Even when there were more people on the winning side already. And i thought autobalance was in place. Joel said maybe he might have been admin. So at the very end, i was the only person in my team left, i escaped the Spawn-camped base and went down the map in Dragon Valley. every flag was captured and i needed to get one. I already lambasted chewbecca for being a coward, and he then challenged me to cap one point, to see how good i was. I went down to the closest flag, and proceeded to cap it unhindered.
I was however, slightly past the neutral flag point when Joel told me SirChewbecca had suddenly become commander. So the idiot wanted to play games. He could now see the whole map. How could he not spot me? So i used ALL speak and told him he was a "fucker for suddenly becoming commander just to spot me". Sure enough, he rolled up in an APC and proceeded to hunt me. I only lasted a few seconds. But what was worth it was that i proved myself above him. I did his challenge and would have completed it had he not gayed his way through my death.
