Woke up today at about 0810. made myself a bowl of cereal and proceeded to watch some malcom in the middle online. then joel and i went running at east coast park, and glad to say that i didnt stop and just kept running for what i estimate to be about 4 or so km. no idea. the km markers are whacked. and got a timing of 38mins50sec. not good, but good for someone who just started up running again.
then i got thrashed on a brief fling on bf2. no kills and nine deaths. probably worst ever...
i got ready to meet mark and ben, and the rain was pouring in the bucketload with howling winds, forcing my umbrella to a life of its own. i took a taxi to the interchange where the rain petered out.
the outing was pretty boring i must say, in any case i went home and did some gaming before the orange box delivery i called for yesterday had come. apparently i had gotten the x360 version. really fed up with myself. and then dinner was home with my parents, they bought back food. i took a look and saw that things werent as id ask them. i always make it a point to clarify on issues concerning meetings, dinners and such, so i previously set out what i wanted in a text message. it appears my father got it wrong. so i got rally peed off because of the orange box issue and i wrongly vented it on my dad, two of my requests were not done. i was waiting to hear a sorry but he didnt say it, with which he flared up (i kept silent throughout) and got mad at me... so he went out to eat elsewhere at the beach and only came back later. One thing about my dad is he never says sorry. so i made it a point when he came back to say sorry for my behavior. he didnt turn to face me or speak a word, so i took it as that.
then my mom called me and told me i got an edusave scholarship. it wasnt like a bursary or good progress award, so i rushed to tear it open. ill be getting a certificate and cheque for my academics. i think its for my prelims. and then she told me to show it to my dad. so i did, and he snatched it and threw it on the table. wow.
oh well. i hope the scholarship is impressive... i know many people get it but i think its impressive nonetheless. gotta run now..
